This was the best year for the Apple Store app for me, it went through straight on 1300 and straight through.

I didn‘t get through until 13:01, but getting the pre-order ready days ago made it so easy I also had the email confirmation at 13:01.

All done at 1:04 pm. 256gb Sierra Blue. Picking up from the Bentall Centre on 25 September. It’ll be a big jump from my aging 6s lockdown burner phone which in turn replaced an 8 Plus which had a cracked LCD display in the middle of lockdown 3.

Apple Pay (Monzo) and wifi were fine for me... normally switch the wifi on the iphone off but the signal didn;t look strong out here in Essex

Same for me but if you went to the “For You” tab you could just tap on it there

My iPad store app just refreshed on its own.... I think the open force close method is advisable verses allowing it to refresh on its own
