DPD driver is literally around the corner and won’t be with me for about 3 hours. Doesn’t always pay to choose a slot in advance 🤦🏻♂️
When you ordered the iPhone did it give you a delivery date? If not and you haven’t received a notification then send them a message 😁 fingers crossed you receive it today
Collected from Apple store this morning. Now having a coffee while I set it up.
did the pre-fianance approval on day of keynote - 14/09 - about 11pm
pre-ordered 1.06pm last Friday 24/09
arriving in a few hours today

This year’s equivalent was someone saying they’d had a dry rub in an Apple store. 😉
No one in here is referring to delivery drivers as sluts.

I may have been a little rash. I was going to upgrade with EE and send my 12 Pro back to them in exchange for a 13 Pro Max. However they were being cagey about delivery so I went hunting. Mobile Phones Direct (part of ao.com) had them in stock so I thought "I'll get one from there. My missus can have my 12 Pro and her XR can go elsewhere in the extended family". So ordered, rang EE and cancelled (and in my defence the guy said it would probably be October 21st before I'd get it). Then checked MPD and they haven't even received their stock yet the lying b*******s

I'm usually speeding back home, into a nice quiet room, telling the missus I'll be unavailable for an hour or two and then setting it up.
just reminds me of that clip, for the X I think, from Australia where the new reporter interviewed the first person coming out of the store and he opens it live on TV and drops it straight out the box!
It’s here!!!!! 10-11 slot showed up at 1010 (DPD) driver was on his phone so no chitchat. I wonder if I can get away with preserving the outer carton to send back to MM in the next 11 months 🤔😏
