Do they still need to do this to create the hype! I wonder how much £ sales they lose in this shutdown!
It’s 4:07 AM in the US right now and 8:07 AM on the east coast I doubt they will lose any money. It’s all the groundwork Apple will be putting together. I really hope Apple Watch pre-orders do not go live right away.

I really hope they shift the MagSafe magnets more down to accommodate the MagSafe duo! It doesn’t align perfectly on the MagSafe Duo charger. Especially this year with 14 Pro series getting bigger cameras.

Its a real shame that these keynotes are just not exiting anymore - all the leaks we have seen thus far will turn out to be true (they always do) and so we already know what to expect from the new devices.

:(

What was it that Steve Jobs said - "We're dumbing down on security" or something like that....?!!!!
We honestly don’t know what to expect. We have not seen anything real in the wild. I don’t think anything has been leaked physically. It’s all been spectulation.

I'm excited to see the colour options this year.
Went with Sierra Blue for the 13 Pro which I LOVE, but it's always nice to change each year, as it makes it feel that little extra new and special

Always the standard Pro for me. I find that the perfect size for what I use the phone for.
If I ever need more screen, I have the iPad for that.

I just find the Pro Max models a little too cumbersome to use and uncomfortable in the pocket.
Makes sense. I went from Pro Max to Pro and I didn’t like it one bit. This happened during the iPhone 12 when it was delayed due to COVID. Pro Max was out in November. It’s hard to drop down to size. You just get used to it.

As a marketer I can say that no amount of marketing budget will cover the amount of hype and talk this creates. It will deffo outweigh the loss in sales, which I bet is minimal as most people will just check back later to see what's new and buy what they originally wanted to.

Think I’m going to go with either the Graphite or Silver this year, always gone for the new colour every year and end up getting tied down with specific colour cases.

Alpine Green which I have just now looks horrible with the majority of cases that aren’t green.

As tempting as the Purple may be, I’ve told myself no
Lots of people opting for Silver this year. Not a bad choice at all. I usually go after the flag ship color. If the colors are appealing I may have to order two iPhones for myself this year. 🤦🏻‍♀️

For those of you that use screen protectors, will you install one straight out of the box without ever touching the screen? Or do you play with the phone a bit then add it?

I never used to use them but did start on my 13 pro max but not straightaway. Just ordered a spigen protector for the 14 pro max (used ESR last time but prefer the installation method of spigen) so I’m ready to go when I get the phone. But whether to touch the naked screen first or not, that’s the question?!

Always install them right away. Keep it factory fresh and clean. Untouched! You will be thankful.

yup agreed - means once you resell it - its like new.
Depends on where or who you sale it to. A lot of people use MM who won’t bump the price down if you have a minor scratch here or there. Same for me with the colour choices, I used to go for the popular colours like black or silver because they used to hold their resale value but again MM don’t care so these days I go for whatever I feel like such as blue or green.
