absolutely love their cases (me/kids/mom have liquid air - my wife uses the clear one - looking at their MagWhatever next) - AND their screen protectors. I'm doing about 95% success rate (knock on wood) - even large like iPad Pro 11.

they've stopped all order changes/cancellations today. Normally you can cancel.
Had exactly the same issue with Chase. After speaking with them they acknowledged they had an Apple Pay issue (suspect it was some kind of arbitrary transaction limit). The advisor just recommened using the real card details instead which worked fine. To be fair, other than the long wait time to speak to someone at Chase, they were pretty knowledgable and acutely aware it was iPhone preorder day. They also said they were working to fix the Apple Pay issue.
That said, it never ceases to amaze me the number of financial instituations wildly underprepared for the onslaught of high value transactions around 1pm on an iPhone launch day. You’d have thought their fraud prevention systems would have learnt by now 😂
I do agree with this though because even before the PFS there was never a cancel option which is strange of Apple
Th do usually have an issue accessing orders soon after placing on launch days, and historically it’s a few hours later when them seem to allow full account management again. That’s it helped people cancelled.. that topped with a fast PFS, I’d guess once the order has started progressing they can’t make changes
It is a great way to take peoples money though and force them to return the order once received :O
Hope your all well and managed to get a preorder in today. Received a text to say the Leather Case I ordered yesterday from the Apple Store is coming via DHL on Monday.

To be honest I wouldn’t necessarily trust them. Last time I ordered via a carrier I was told I’d get on launch day and I eventually cancelled a few weeks later. I did wonder when I saw this on EE if it was because it is more popular….
For those who have had luck playing orders and those who might not have… we can all say we’ve met this one goal today!

They tried to charge me on both orders. Told them im not paying it. If cant waive it im not upgrading cancel it.
And the delivery charges were waived off.

Pro 128/256GB in Black or Purple probably...still undecided. My Apple preorders kept giving me an error at 1pm because of my main number being too long?! I edited it but it still kept giving me an error so I gave up lol

The wife has nothing else medical issue wise. I think she’s hoping to be able to move around carefully fairly soon after as she’s not the sort to be bed ridden for days!
Got to take it easy for a couple days after, no lifting etc, stairs are quite difficult too. But it's just a few days then after should be all good! Also don't go anywhere too far
Did John Lewis do pre orders today? I don’t think they usually do and go live on the day of release with delivery/collection the next day. They’ll usually have stock first thing
