I’m in exactly the same boat, lost weeks thanks to the system buggering up. At least it’s more time to be excited and there’s always the hope Apple will do their usual and bring date’s forward, though that’s maybe harder to do with component shortages still in effect.

At least I’ve got a new network to amuse me for a little while, massive difference between it and my old one.

I tried this earlier today (via live chat) and was told smartkiosk not available even though I know it shows for a new order.

I wonder if it is something to do with phone value. I have MM locked in at over £700 (Pro Max 256) - and now price with code would be £600. Maybe for handsets over a certain value (£700??) smart kiosk not available??

Had to pop out and it was right next to the cex so though why not check my AirPods Pro’s out.

I’ve had my charging case within an incase case from the moment I bought it. I assume it was in pristine condition inside the case.

Took it off when I got into the store and this is how it looked!

Lots of micro abrasions on the front and back!

Livid at how the incase case caused my damage then me not having one on!

They (rightly) graded it a B.


So I got the cash £91 and going to buy some new ones now

These slow days been pre order an delivery are dangerous to ones bank balance!

It’s sort of crazy that some very light cosmetic scuffs on the exterior of the CASE have an impact on the price they pay, when, I guess, the state of the 3 batteries isn’t even considered?

in the grand scheme of things, it was £13 different so not a massive drop...and compared to MM offering £55!

they do then take it for 'testing' for 20 mins but that was all fine.
