That's my 13 Pro off to Music Magpie. Im a bit nervous as I literally just boxed it, took it to the post office, scanned the barcode and off it went!

Going for a 128 Pro in purple I think, although the black is tempting!

Feeling a bit aggrieved with the pricing. Im essentially getting 128gb less for about £4 more a month!
Yeah I think its around £9 extra just to get 128 again moving from the 13PM to 14PM which kinda sucks. Still getting it though!

I am just gonna buy it up front once I have the phone it’s cheaper than paying monthly

Says not, if do the 24 month 0% there’s below option, basically AC+ monthly fee over 24 months at 0%. But I want to ensure if I pay the phone off, I can cancel the AC+

Okaaaaay, so, I’ve confirmed my decision. 🫣

14 Pro Max 1TB in Silver already on “pre-pre-order”. Just ordered the Forest Green leather case and wallet, arriving Monday.

I was worried about the micro-scratching/scratching but meh. I love the forest green colour and the white/green colour is totally my aesthetic.

Plus, I already ordered the Ultra with the green alpine loop!

My 🌈 gang catch me on the next @OutdoorLads meet. 😂💪

I have "pre" pre ordered the 14 Pro 256 in black moving from a 12 Pro Max 512 (always using less than 200gb). My 12 Pro Max 512 (unlocked) is worth £460 on Apple, I note there are those using Music Magpie and ReBuy was mentioned which offer 20% more but not sure if they are realistic valuations or am I gonna get sucked into being beaten down on that price? Whats the concensus on here? Take Apple £460 or nearer of £600 elsewhere?

Hi All, does anyone know if you go with the Barclays 24 month 0% financing if you can then pay a large chunk off to reduce the monthly payments?

Got a 12 pro that i would like to sell with music magpie so the money from that i would want to then use to reduce the monthly payments!

I went down the route of getting a quote from Apple for my old phone which reduced the payments needed to be paid to Barclays on the 24 Month. The price for the phone i was exchanging is then notionally held against a credit card in my case so if i dont send it to Apple in 14 days they take the exchanged phone value from my CC. I am hoping to get better money from elsewhere but this did bring my payments down in anticiaption of selling old phone.

yep if you've essentially bought AC at full price of rate 2 years (the fixed term not the monthly rolling), you can cancel (as long as you've not claimed) you will get a pro rata refund.

see sections 10.4.2.2. and 10.6 in the above terms 🤣

Thanks, i did look at this option but apple are offering £100 less than Music magpie which is annoying so ideally it would be great if its possible to make a payment to barclays to reduce it

Still can’t decide.

I’ve never had one of the bigger phones. So the weight concerns me more than the size.

Both have pros and cons for me.

Pro max has more features, better camera and screen etc.

14 plus is lighter. Colours are nicer, it’s cheaper. Battery will be better.

I’ve had every blue iPhone. Blue is my favourite colour. So if I got the pro max I know I’d be wishing I got the blue 14 plus. But if I get the plus, I’ll be wishing I got the max with the better features.

(I know nobody can decide for me, just don’t know any other apple addicts who I can have a rant to).

You can pay a large amount off but as far as I know it won’t change the monthly payments, just the length of the loan. It’s a shame they don’t offer the option to pay a deposit at time of purchase

I think it DOES reduce the monthly payments and not the loan term.

Remember, its not just about the weight. A bigger phone would also be more problematic in the pocket - I know my previous 'Max' sized phone wouldn't sit nicely in my pockets hence why I reverted back to a 13 Pro.

Hi all,

It's that time again! I wasn't going to bother with the 14 this year to be honest. I upgraded to an iPhone 13 Pro Max last year on Vodafone which is on a 24 months contract. But I've still my 0% left on my credit card so I've decided to buy one outright.

I'm going for a pro max 256gb this time as I have a 512gb currently and have realised I use no where near that amount of space at all lol.

Thanks to whoever posted about Rebuy, I had no idea they existed! £703 on my 13 pro max. That certainly helps a lot!

Is anyone having issues with DPD tracking for cases etc?
The string did not match the expected pattern.

Maybe they're trying to do a JSON.parse on an empty string (the DPD API returns an empty content, with a 404 header).
