What has been more reliable in previous years, app or web? I usually upgrade every year via 02!
When I hit pre order tomorrow and select in-store pick up, how long do they hold it for? Do I have to pick it up on Friday next week or could I pick it up on the Sunday (might not be able to get there until the Sunday).
The more I’ve seen the Pro/Pro Max in purple, the more I’m unsure about it...

Thanks. I ended up adding them all to my Apple account and used that towards the payment so didn’t matter in the end!
It looks a fair bit darker from the hands on footage I’ve seen on twitter/YouTube.. I hope so anyway, as I wasn’t a fan of Graphite but I’m going for Space Black! I’ve been silver since the 5s but not a fan of the ultra-shiny stainless steel.

I think if you add them all to your Apple account first (e.g. via the AppStore app), you’ll be able to apply the full balance to your order at checkout. It was an option for me, though not 100% my remaining balance is from more than 4 gift cards!
Yeah saw a compare on Twitter is darker but still doesn’t seem to be a real black. Think I am going to opt for silver this year

I think they hold items for 7 days from the pick-up date chosen. They're usually pretty flexible with that sort of thing.

Whilst I enjoyed the hype a lot the store queues we’re a shambles! Overrun by scalpers which ruined the whole experience.
One would join the queue then throughout the night taxis full off them would keep arriving. Robbing decent people of the chance to own a phone. Did it once, there was nearly a riot. By the end the decent of us in the queue were pushing the others back out whilst security did nothing.
Overall I’m glad it’s gone the way it has even at the expense of the fun element
Hi every one, been a couple of years. So I’ve been mulling over the last 2 days on whether to upgrade the iPhone 12 I have.
I’ve had it for 2 years which is the longest I’ve ever had an iPhone for
I first felt that the jump to the 14 from the 12 isn’t worth it and wasn’t going to bother upgrading, and to be still feel that’s the case
I then thought maybe I should take a look at the pro instead and and on my break earlier decided to go for the 14 pro from the 12 as there’s more of a jump and after trading in my current phone hits a cheaper price point than the standard 14 is at.
I’ve got everything ready to go and will set an alarm to get up (working nights) to preorder the 14 pro 128gb in silver. Hoping all goes smooth, so I wish you all luck on your preorders later today. See you on the other side

Happy Pre Order day all! Woke up at 5:26am thinking purple or space black! Very tough decision this year. So just added the other colour to the pre pre order but will only go ahead with one @1pm as don’t feel it’s right to order two and return ! Especially when so many of us want to be part of the launch day excitement!
