If you have an EV car, you can park at any charging point and pay for your charge & park for about £2 an hour, cheaper than standard parking space, and cheaper than a bus fair lol, I did that when I went to regent street the other day with my family.
That is the plan.

We are staying overnight in Slough on Friday and then drive into Central London on Saturday.

Park up before 12 pm and I doubt we will be leaving before 6pm.

So, the car will be stationary during the congestion charge period i.e 12pm - 6pm

Take that Mr. Sadiq Khan :)

Wait, you have an EV car? if so, just register with the TFL EV exception, it's £10 a year to drive into the congestion charge area anytime you want to.

register here: Clean vehicle discount

All you need is your V5, registration number & payment, that's what I have done for the past 2 years.

Wow. What has happened to TFL fares.

Last time i used tube 3-4 years ago zone 1-6 travelcard was around £6.

They are now £15 - £20 per adult
TFL are broke after Covid, they have to basically double as many prices as they can (inc expanding ULEZ zone right across London) to try and make up the shortfalls.

That and they are used like a political football by this gov (I think they are the only transport network in the country that gets their funding direct from central government).

i wonder how quickly apple will adjust prices i believe the pound to dollar was around 1.10 when lots of the products launched its now almost 1.21 so not only did they increase the prices to counter lower pound but how quickly will they lower them as the pound rises.

i know the answer already only when they have to and after chriistmas no doubt thats my expectation. they may also just leave prices as they are which is double dipping imo

Didn't TFL announce that it recovered its losses earlier this year? my only complaint is why the CC didn't go back to how it was pre-pandemic, weekends and bank holidays free, it should in my opinion.

A lot of PCO/PHV drivers who haven't switched to EVs (70%+) are mad about this still, no wonder you don't see many of them accept jobs in CC areas.

EV vehicles will start to be taxed soon, and I bet they look at other ways of making money from EV vehicles in London too soon!.....

No thanks - I have no desire to get an EV and will put it off for as long as possible. I believe it's another way of controlling people, just like the digital currency governments are looking into.

Placed an order for the 14 Pro Max and got a delivery date of the 30th December. Also ordered the Apple Watch Ultra and that's arriving tomorrow.

I now regret returning the 14 Pro Max I had on launch date, should of kept it and waited for software updates to fix the issues I had.

Unfortunately my 14PM was stolen from me :(

My insurance company offered to replace it with a Samsung S22 ultra... I kindly declined so now I'm rocking a 14 Plus 256gb in Blue :)
I was going to order a regular 14 but decided against that and went for the 13 Pro with a discount. Unfortunately, according to the DHL tracking, it was delivered the day before yesterday, with a signature as proof (not my signature, and a name from someone I've never heard of).
So either the DHL delivery man/woman made the delivery to the wrong address and some greedy person signed for it, or said malicious delivery man/woman is now the proud owner of a new 13 Pro?.

In any case, they're investigating it...

You just reminded me to register my phone with my Nationwide account for insurance purposes.

Guess your insurance company ignores the investment in apps, etc when suggesting an incompatible replacement!

I see the Anker MagSafe charger is on offer on Amazon. Thinking of getting one for my desk. Question is, does anyone know if it's safe to leave it on a charger like this all day?
