Been following this thread for the past 10 pages or so (first time poster on here).

Currently have an iPhone 13 Pro as haven't really done the yearly upgrade thing as never felt it necessary to do so every year (only really had two or three previous iPhones in the past, which I've always bought outright).

Since the inception of that magic island thing at the top of the iPhone 14 display (or is it called dynamical island or something like that?), I have hated it and was the reason I decided to make my current iPhone 13 Pro the last and only iPhone I would ever upgrade to. I know its an iOS thing but I think it looks terrible so wont go beyond what I currently have now.

Also, looking at the unofficial pics of them cases - I also do not like that action button thing (if it is indeed real), but hey. each to their own!

????

If not upgrading makes me wonder why you have come in here to a despatch thread to say you won’t be on a product for last year.

Ps. Have you actually used the dynamic island? Far more functional than the notch.

My 15 PM case arrived from Amazon.

I swapped my 14 PM straight into it and the case seems to…not quite fit.

It’s almost as if I put it in the wash and it shrank ever so slightly.

Welcome to posting! The dynamic island is actually decent and much more useful than the notch. It does generally just blend into the background after a while. I would say don’t knock it until you try it - especially re. the action button (if indeed real)

It seems as though that code doesn’t actually work for anything on MM so maybe we are early 🤔

Also has anyone else noticed the change to the grading on MM this year.

Last year it was “Good, Poor, Faulty”
This year it is “Excellent, Good, Poor”

So I wonder if this is going to be used to reduce quotes. Current trade in values for excellent are equal to what would have previously been Good.

However the current excellent does not have the same requirements as good.

I noticed this the other day, they’ve also added 80% battery health which I’m pretty sure is a new one (and considering how 14pros seem to have some weird battery health drain issue I can see why they’ve done it)

mines on 90% after a year, and it’s definitely not been strenuously used or charged

Yes I’m a bit concerned about the new MM grading system as well… I have a little scratch on the outer edge of the phone, it’s very small and unnoticeable normally that would be fine for last years ‘good’ but technically I’m not qualifying for what they now call an ‘excellent’ phone. So I’m a bit worried when it comes to using the kiosk as to exactly what value I will get.

Yep this has been mentioned before.

I believe it’s their code for tech excluding phones.

Offer available from Friday 1st September to Saturday 30th September at 23:59.

I managed to apply it to my watch but can only use once which I had forgotten from previous years. It did show the amount of increase.

The email it came in was specifically about Apple Tech
