Decided against pre ordering, but thought I'd log on and see, surprised to see even now Friday is still available for both collection and delivery, feels like the first time in a long time those options are still available 10 minutes after launch
 
Where do you select to pay with App Store credit?

Now appearing - but can’t check out.

Phew! all done, felt like forever but shockingly the phone confirmation email came through at 13:03!
Fairly smooth. Purple Pro Max 512 secured for launch and also Airpods Pro 2 for it's launch.

Store came up on Chrome first, but on my iPad about 2 seconds later. Wanted to use applepay though and keep by phone free for any bank confirmation that might have come up

Yup, same here.

I pre-approved my purchase yesterday, to be paid with a credit card. Just kept getting an error when trying to get past the address confirmation screen, so back-tracked and used Apple Pay, which worked first time.
 
problems with my address as well, can't change to store pickup as that needs an address for the trade in!
 
That's so annoying. I was refreshing for 7-8 minutes before it let me in to the store, and the date on my 14 Pro Max 256GB Purple slipped by the time I checked out.
 
That was a tad stressful. The App Store wouldn’t load, nor the website (only have my phone on me). I restarted my phone and still nothing. The only thing that kicked the App Store into loading was using the calendar link for my pre-pre-order!
 
Managed to order my AirPods Pro 2 through Apple but the website was a bit temperamental this year for me.

Anyones payment taken? MBNA have got a pre-auth on Credit Card for £0. I want the full payment taken so there is no stress about being declined!
 
Looks like I'm sitting this out then. Got in at 13:01 and just kept getting an error about my shipping details, tried again on another device and same issue, then decided to try again for store pickup but by that time it became 'Unavailable for store pickup' and it had slipped to end of the month-early October by the next attempt. Gutted

Was gonna do this but realised they'll be available cheaper in O2 when I apply my discount codes.
 
Just for the hell of it, I just tried to get on the Apple Store from my iPhone 13 but just getting the 'Almost There' black screen?!

I only want to order a watch strap!!
