White looks good in that pic circulating on X.

I'd like to go for the air as something different, but will miss optical zoom from the other cameras too much, especially as the x5 (or x8?) is going up to 48mp this year. Will be all over the fold next year though, phone and ipad mini (ish) in one, especially if the folded out state runs ipad OS. 🥳🤤

Maybe a new FoldOS that combines iOS for front screen & iPadOS for inner?

Just got a new battery in my 13 Pro so don’t feel any real pressure to upgrade. The Air did look different but has too many compromises; single camera, mono speakers and tiny battery.

Did you get it done at Apple or elsewhere?

I’m weighing up getting a new battery for my 15 Pro to keep it for another year or use that £100 and sell the phone towards a new one

Traded in my 15 Pro 256GB at the Apple Store for £505 yesterday, assuming it will go down by about £40-80 after the 17 is announced; now using an old iPhone until launch day. I can't complain, retaining close to 50% value after two years sounds good to me.

I've received the last four or five iPhones on launch day via delivery. Does selecting store pickup improve the chances of an early-day pickup, or is delivery the better option since launch-day delivery stock may be more than what's allocated to stores?

If I were you, and budget allows, I'd trade in and get a 17. With a £500+ trade-in for the 15P plus the £100 you'd spend on a new battery, you could get a 17 for just £350–£500, and it will retain much more of its value over the next 1–2 years.

I say 50/50 to be honest.

I have no idea why any of you with the 16 PM are planning to upgrade. This is such a boring upgrade. And for the good of Apple themselves, they deserve a kick up the backside. First year where genuinely the Samsung and Google offerings were better.
Nope.
