My pre-order experience was completely uneventful this year. I pre-approved via Barclays, hopped onto the app just after 1pm and got a 16PM 256 in white for delivery on Friday. Must’ve taken seconds! (It’s been painful in previous years)

What? That's 2.5k over 2 years, the phone im getting is 1.2k and a tenner a month on SIM only ..........

5G Stand Alone is available from EE on iPhone 15 as long as you have a plan that supports it….. and are in a 5G SA.

The 5G SA plans were launched at the end of August.

Anyone else ordered a 16 Pro and trying to decide if it won’t feel too small after only owning PM phones until now?

I have a 13” iPad Pro and a 14” MBP and with this year’s release there is feature and camera parity so getting a smaller iPhone seems appealing. Cheers

When I went with the iPhone 12, I switched from pro max to pro and changed it after a week. Yes, it feels easier in the hand but not dramatically so it felt right going back to the Pro Max plus the pro max has a superior battery life

Mastercard and apple account balance

Apple account balance probably is reason. I saw on USA pre order thread that people tried to pay with Apple account balance don’t get through (can’t preorder) or managed to but order cancelled.

I also read that someone phoned Apple about it and they said order it on credit card then phone them to add Apple balance after, not on pre order page yourself.

I hope you able get it sorted out!

I ordered on my Mastercard then phoned apple yesterday to add my apple balance, they said on the phone yesterday everything was fine.. just really annoyed, had no email or anything to say why.. will try and get an in store pick up if I’m able to grab one

How do you get it? I have the full works plan with Apple One and when I called EE to ask if I can add it on, the didn't even know what it was and what I was talking about.
Do you have to have EE broadband or something?

It looks like it's only available with the new plans they launched this month. Super irritating considering I just renewed my ism only deal in August...

With MusicMagpie it was somewhere deep in the Ts&Cs - people on the forum had said 21 days but I wanted to be sure.

MusicMagpie are currently offering a 21 day price lock in. It’s in their emails just got one this morning. I have used them for the past 3 years without issue.

I have 5GSA working on my 15PM, but I don’t live in an enabled area and not traveled to one yet.

For me, I am hoping the benefit will be the VIP priority connection when in a busy area… but that is to be seen.

I didn’t get the plan for 5G SA, but for other benefits and it reduced my overall bill by including watch data and a better discount.
