I've been reading through EE pre-order thread and it seems to have been a nightmare for most as usual. People being promised multiple times launch day deliveries and then being told stock issues on the day of release. How they balls it up each and every year is impressive but at least they're consistent. lol

EE are a bit of a mess, can't even show discounts on an account until the first bill is generated, I've been on chat and i'm good to go it seems. Honestly sometimes I wish I stayed on Three but I got a very good P30 Pro contract back in the day. Moved back to iPhone 12 since Huawei is banned from Google services and I prefer iOS anyway.

Rejected for IUP this morning at store while handing my phone in despite credit score and no change in salary. Suspect the fact that I changed employer within a few weeks after the original loan was made last September might have dinged the Equifax check by Barclays.

It’s arrived 😃. Went for the white this year. Love the idea of the black back, but don’t want the sides to get scratched, plus I love the bright silver sides. Now just have to wait to the backup to set up. Tried to work out how to do it as a wired thing, but couldn’t seem to get anywhere, so WiFi it is….

Which mous case is that? I love that contrast. I currently have a blue suppose unicorn on my white 16 PM. But that black looks epic.

I never put screen protectors on my iPhones had a generally good experience with how the screen bears up.

I never use to put screen protectors on my phones until a few years back. Personally I don’t want to take the risk.

I remember being in a hotel room sleeping and I’d left my iPhone on the table next to the lamp. My phone rang so I got up to answer it and in the dark knocked the lamp over which fell on my phone resulting in a hairline crack in the glass. Fortunately I had Apple Care so I called Apple the next day who offered to ship out a new phone and allowing me to send mine back after.

I don’t mind relying on Apple Care but it’s still a bit of a hassle and only covers two incidents. Since then I’ve been putting glass screen protectors on my phones knowing that I just replace the screen protector. They don’t really bother me.

I just use the website. I do have Tapatalk but never use it. Some of the messages from Tapatalk are being displayed here in a weird way and are annoying to be honest.

Keep checking emails I had same delivery date Window and I received email and tracking overnight and phone is arriving Monday with dpd

Had an absolute nightmare with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I noticed the frame was poorly finished and was rough, and I wasn’t happy to live with that, so I transferred everything back to my iPhone 15 Pro Max which wasn’t easy with the eSIM and resetting the Apple Watch to get it paired up again.

Went to the Apple Store and they agreed to swap it, however there was none in stock, and I’ve been told to keep checking every day to hopefully be able to swap mine for a good device. Trying to get through to Apple Support is awful, and I’m waiting for a call back to try and get it sorted. But I feel like I’ll be waiting a while to enjoy the iPhone 16 Pro Max this year, even though I got the pre-order in quickly and had it delivered on day one. 😭

Same for me, I’ve had them all since the OG back in 2007 up until iPhone 12. Went for a bi-yearly upgrade cycle but I’m debating whether I should have got the 16 pro max. Damn you apple.

I was very anal about applying them as soon as I got the device. My last 3 iPhones (14 PM, 15 PM, and 16 PM) I’ve not bothered. The 14 and 15 didn’t have a mark except a couple of very very small micro scratches you had to look for under a v bright light under magnification.

It's really getting to the point where upgrading where spending around a grand to solve a bunch of first world problems is your recent iPhone upgrades.

Yup; it'll run until it's cancelled. It then cannot be renewed unfortunately

It’ll even run when you trade in or sell that device. In the USA it does. So one has to make sure to cancel the monthly Apple care at the time.

Apple Support is indeed very rubbish! Just got off the phone with them and they are ordering me another iPhone 16 Pro Max to replace my faulty one and it’s estimated to arrive 15th - 22nd October. That’s really poor and I’m not happy with that at all.

Instead I’m going to keep checking every morning for new stock on the iPhone upgrade programme, and if they have one in, I’ll reserve it and return my faulty one there and then. If 2 weeks go by and I haven’t got another then I will probably just return the phone and switch to another brand. Can’t believe I’m saying that as I’ve had every iPhone since the 4s, but I’m really disappointed with Apple here. 😭

I got this one from Amazon. Put it on and instantly could notice it doesn’t fit that well. Slightly off unfortunately. Got a refund from Amazon in hope I can find a better fit.

I bought these ones, shattered during install so back they go.
