Anyone in the same boat as me? Pre-ordered to pick up on Nov. 3 at Regent Street. I used Apple Pay on checkout, and my order has switched to 'order in progress'. I still haven't received any notifications from the bank/Apple that Apple Pay has failed. Any ideas?

Apple Store App opened at 8:04, I went to reserve for my 256GB Silver for iUP, and NOTHING was in stock, all currently unavailable, which sucks because yeah I didn't get to order my phone!

What do people reckon the stock quantity will be like on launch day for the walk ins? Apple confirmed they were having them... Do I need to get there at like 4am? haha

I was up at 2:55am and set up to go at 2:59. Apple App didn’t load til about 3:06. Was on my way to ordering my phone right then and got stuck on the AT&T carrier settings page. Got a pop up that “we have a phone for you!” In my panic of not getting through I started over again on the Apple website on my iPad. Got through this time with a delivery of November 17-24. I was a little upset. Woke up to an email to complete my reservation with a November 3 delivery! Yay. Just have two questions, I did the reservation order using the second number/line on my account because it said my number already had an order, true, I couldn’t cancel fast enough and didn’t want to risk canceling first and getting pushed back to December. Can I switch it to my number when it comes? Also the later shipping phone came with the white base and Nov 3 phone has the black charging base. Can you return the base? I want the white one.

Got my email at 8:03 and ordered at 8:02 so weren’t that bad. Only issues I had was with Apple Pay. Feel for the ones who had their delivery times slip due to Apple Pay.

Yeah same. Think they didn’t allow delivery as the only option I had was store pick up but idm. As long as I can see my phone I’ll be happy.

I’ve an email confirmation received at 8:04 confirming launch day delivery....

Not had anything since but the app says payment failed. My bank say it wasn’t a fraud block “just too high for Apple Pay” whatever that means...

Rang Apple and got through on the 2nd attempt.

Payment made via the original card and then my order is now showing as processing.

Overall pretty much the same issues as I had with my iPad Pro order and my iPhone 7 before that, just they seem to take payment immediately rather than wait until dispatch.

Credit card company is Halifax. Why they don’t like high payments I don’t know, she initially blamed the terminal until i said it was an app based transaction.

Ordered at 7.37 via the app for a silver 256. Assume you are in 3 nov unless the order page showed you a longer wait time.

I should have preordered a 256GB from VF - same tariff and only £50 more up front.

Don't do it - you won't get it on launch day with VF! Look at the VF iPhone 7 thread from last year.

Same boat here. Nothing was in stock for white 256gb IUP, app loaded 8.08am ish. Started to freak out so I ordered it outright, with delivery in 2-3 weeks. I always buy my phones outright but really didn't want to this year!

Im hoping I can go into the store, when i receive the phone, and ask them if I can be placed onto IUP.
