After getting a 'delayed' status on my UK Mail delivery, just received a text saying it will be delivered 13.22-14.22!

Since I’ve got another 2 hours this go, I’ve been out and passed John Lewis who had a silver/white demo model. Damn that thing was covered in prints and they were very visible.

I ordered an Argos silver as I thought it would handle them better despite the black camera bump looking odd. Now, I’m wondering if the Black works as both will need wiping for prints unless in a case.

First world problems I know.

Oh, and I love the gesture interface. Took me all of 2 minutes to get the hang of it. Not too fussed about the notch as content isn’t up there too much for my needs.

So, just got off the phone to DPD CS. My parcel is currently stuck at the Reading depot awaiting an update. Apparently there has been some kind of 'accident' which has resulted in delays today. No update means the parcel is still at the depot and not loaded onto a van yet, and they could provide no indication of when that might happen.

Frankly I take the 'accident' line with a pinch of salt - its the kind of excuse I'd expect from the likes of Yodel, but not DPD.

Not happy at all right now..

EDIT: They have a pinned tweet mentioning the accident, but that was apparently on the M1 and my parcel has been in the Reading Depot since 1am.

The UK Mail courier just delivered mine. We are near the Dartford Bridge where the lorry crashed into a car. The courier told me that the lorry was one of theirs. Might have been moving iPhone stock around the country. Hope you get yours soon.

I've had Yodel do that plenty of times in the past. Besides, DPD in this case are blaming an accident on the M1, yet my phone has apparently been sat ready and waiting the in the Reading depot since 1am, so clearly not affected my the accident.

Argos people has anyone had any confirmation/ delivery details?
Ordered this morning at 06:11 they took the money out my account instantly but no email.
Attempted to contact support but they advised to contact in 2 hours as there system is down. Starting to regret this already

Not had delivery details but did get an email pretty much right away with my order confirmation.

Just had a DPD app notification and email which instead of the usual timeslot, container we'll deliver between 06:00 and 22:00. Not very helpful....

At least it does now mention the driver though - which is the usual DPD driver, so hopefully some progress soon.

I missed the JL one .. even though i was on the site .. it crashed and by time checkout worked it was out of stock!!
not sure how many they even had!

Holy moly! Royal Mail just showed up with..... an iPhone X! I’m expecting DPD!

After a few shocked minutes, we remembered hubby ordered one from Very as a backup. Delivery was due on the 22nd of November so we were completely taken by surprise!

So what do I do now with the one coming this afternoon? Refuse on delivery, return or offer to someone local?
