Just checked the time of my confirmation email and it wasn’t till 8:10am so guess I’m not going to be in the first lot of deliveries.

Hope the ones you are, gets their phones this week
 
How 4 x avios?
If u went thru a shopping portal to Apple.com- they won’t give any points on X purchases

I got an Amex for this purchase of 2 phones so I could get the 20,000 Avios points but I don't think I updated my card details properly with Apple and now they've charged my other account.
So I'm going to have the ballache of taking them to a store to return and then re-buy them once they arrive. Great stuff!

On the plus side, Argos have refunded my £1k+, which is nice of them :rolleyes:
 
How did you know there was an authorisation problem?
Paypal and Apple emailed me, changed payment to my card never using Paypal for over £100 again xD

I'm hesitant to try to do this...i have a "before 18th November" reservation, but i think the stock in London is a lot more scarce. Did you have any luck in getting a phone yet?
Yep .. canceled yesterday my iUP reservation for 18/11/17 and I was able to got the iPhone X that I want (256GB Silver) for today .. I would recommend to cancel and try to find one, but to be honest, not sure about London stock since I didn't check that one (I was checking Birmingham area)
 
Usual Apple Pay payment failure, go to Apple order status website to update details, try reauthorising and every other card I have, authorisation fails for all of them even though they are all working fine everywhere else. Any ideas?

You have to phone and give your card details over the phone to fix that issue, I had it at launch.
