you can always postpone the delivery if its scheduled for tomorrow. you'll get the option once you have a courier

I actually got the email at 11am to say there was a problem with the payment. I didn’t get it fixed until quite a bit later (actually it fixed itself?!?) and don’t think I got a PFD until much later in the afternoon.

If apple sticks to their current premium for larger screens then it could be £1099 for 64gb and £1249 for 256gb but I’m thinking it will be more like £1399+ for the X+

what time was your order placed? did your order go PFD today? there was a bunch that went PFD yesterday at 11am and they went to dispatched a few hours later. There was a later set that went PFD around 6pm and these are still in that state
 
Looking for 64GB Silver on iPhone Payments. Nearest Apple Store is over 100 miles away but am due to be in a city that has an Apple Store on 25th November, 7th December and 22nd December.

Options are to:

1. Order online for home delivery (currently 5th to 11th December) then take into a store on either 7th or 22nd December get refund and then apply in store for iPhone Payments (currently have iP7 under this).

or

2.Try to reserve on the iUP on the mornings of 25th November, 7th December or 22nd December and then collect in store

A few things to consider:
Under option 1, what are chances of order arriving early in time for 25th November? Also, if phone arrives on 7th December (whilst I am away from home), I only have 14 days to return so that will have expired by my next visit on 22nd December. Do you think Apple would still allow me to return a day late?

Considering using PayPal to pay for phone if going with option 1, just in case I get refused on the iPhone Payments process as it allows you to spread cost interest free over 4 months. Has anyone else done this and if so is it easy for Apple to refund in store when you return the phone.

Sorry, lots of questions but this is proving to be a logistical nightmare!
 
Vodafone are the most stocked carrier this year without question

Walked into Vodafone store on Friday 3rd about lunchtime in central London and ordered 256gb silver. Just got an email it’s getting delivered today

Is there any reason why my item is not showing on the DPD app so I can't track when it might arrive ?

Just got my tracking number from Argos. I put it in Yodel however says delivery estimate unknown. Just spoke to Argos again and they said it can come
Between today and 24th. The items aren’t actually coming from Argos themselves but Apple.
I ordered a 256GB silver on the 3rd at 08:11

If mine does indeed come tomorrow, I wish I'd known in advance it'd come so soon. I was scratching my head just now thinking, wait a minute, launch day November 3rd was the Friday before last wasn't it? I've been camped in this thread and refreshing my order so often, launch day seems aaaages ago.

Had I known it'd arrive a mere 6 days after launch I wouldn't have bothered with all the 0558 alarms and trying/failing with Argos, John Lewis etc lol.

Exactly. Was glad it went straight to DPD and "Est date Nov 9th", now safe in the knowledge it's not coming from China. I'm sure everyone else with similar orders will be exactly the same, great!

Who did you order from? It might be on the way to DPD from wherever the Apple order is located. I ordered via Argos, got my tracking number today however says that they are still waiting for it from the “sender” being Apple. Does your tracking state what day it will be coming from? Who did you order from?
