You may notice I have been a member of MacRumors since 2003 - that's 13 years, longer than any of you commenting on my views. I've owned all the iPhone models up the the iPhone 6. I've had MacBooks, iPads, MacMinis, several iMacs, Apple TVs, AirPorts, and currently an iMac 4K. I feel perfectly entitled to post here and my contribution to a thread where many are yet to purchase their iPhones is completely pertinent. I would certainly value such comments on any forum where users are discussing an item I might be considering buying. Loyalty to huge, multi-national companies such as Apple, Google, Samsung and others is rather sad and illustrates a lack of dignity on the part of the fanboy concerned.
No I didn't notice anything of the sort because it has little or no relevance. Time served doesn't qualify your comments any more or less then any other member. People jump ship, they become "fan boys" of their new multi national deity over night. Generally they behave in that manner as they need to justify and validate their purchase choice by putting down others.
It's a public forum so of course you're perfectly entitled to post here or anywhere else. As am I and others to question your motives. What products you've had previously are irrelevant to me.
As I stated previously, you're posting here is only going to generate a largely one sided conversation. Other then a few people that hang around to help others, everyone gets their phone and leaves. Hence my suspicion you are looking for validation of your choice by belittling the alternative, rather then any chance someone may find a flaw in your choice.
Moreover, the differences you've highlighted are minute and unlikely to be picked up by the average phone camera user. If you truly want to discuss which camera is better go post on Avforums or DPReview (or some other photography focussed forum) where you could have an informed discussion. Or at the very least start a thread which will attract people who actually have an iPhone X and can therefore share their experience, quite possibly highlighting issues or positives you have missed. Instead you post on a thread where virtually no one has an iPhone and r/Android.

Do the stocks on iStockNow tend to change in the late afternoon/evening or is it generally just the mornings (give or take a few cancelled orders being restocked..)?
From my experience (with JL who I wanted to buy from) they are updated in the evening/early morning.
I checked the other day and saw JL had stock in a nearby store, called in the morning and CS sent a note to the store. But by the time the store got back to me the phones had all gone. This time I called just before the store opened (9:59am), CS transferred me to the electrical department and they reserved one for me.
I haven't really been chasing around for stock, but have watched this thread to figure out the best tactic. IMO JL is the best bet if you do as I did. Alternatively ask someone on IUP to reserve for you.
