UK iPhone 4S thread.

I'm ordering at the end of the month..how long do you guys reckon it will take to delivery? 2-3 weeks?
I know it's easy to say it, but I honestly wouldn't worry what your status says until up to midnight tonight.
For example, my Apple status only changed from 'processing' this morning and didn't change to 'shipped' till late on this afternoon, but now it's tracking I can see that UPS actually received the courier order at 0855 this morning.
At the end of the day, if you ordered from Apple on 7th, the chances are you'll get your 4S tomorrow irrespective of whatever status Apple, UPS or TNT currently say. It's EXACTLY the same as this every Apple launch!

Some progress...AT LAST! I put my Apple Ref number (starting W) into UPS and it says "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."
White 32GB here! Just so happy that there is some progress now, even if it doesn't arrive tomorrow

Just checked UPS and it's recognised now. Still no delivery date though.

I'm not bothered about Apples site anymore because they take forever to update (will prob get my iPhone before they update it). I'm just sticking to refreshing UPS now Thanks... Managed to find out that UK MAIL are delivering mine! It has been collected and is waiting for 'Out for Delivery' status in the morning!
This makes me VERY happy!
I have actually JUST checked the UPS website again and although the apple site STILL states preparing for shipping i now have

If you go to your Apple account. Click on track your shipment and it will show you your tracking number. Use that as a reference number on UK Mail.
Is it fair to say that if your CC hasn't been charged, your order hasn't been shipped?
Nothing's been charged to the CC yet and the order status is still Preparing for Shipment.
I know that the order status can be out of date (as per the 2000+ posts on the subject!), but wondered about the CC transaction.
(Although I suppose that as with the apple store status, it depends when these things get added/updated!).

- I got a Tracking Number and a Delivery Reference Number from apple and neither work on UKmail but do work on the syncreon site
Wondering if this means syncreon are delivering?? or weather mine will be delivered by someone else

Complete newbie here, but having been an avid lurker for the past couple of days I had to check-in and say Hi.
I ordered two 32GB 4S's (one white, one black) last Friday, direct from the Apple site. Confirmation email sent 11:30AM. (I'm right on the Beds/Bucks/Herts borders, FWIW.)
Was ecstatic last night when my status moved from 'Processing Items' to 'Preparing for shipment'. Am less ecstatic at 16:45 when it hasn't changed to 'Shipped' yet. But it seems that, on balance of opinion, my chances of getting my new toys tomorrow are still 50:50.
Nice to know that plenty of others are in the same boat...

Absolute torture this is. Ive been constantly checking the damn account section on the Apple site since i got up this morning.
Im still Preparing for Shipment. Cant remember exactly what time i managed to get my order placed, but i got my order confirmation email at exactly 9:20am on the 7th.
