I don't recall this happening when I bought my iPad, but that was not a simultaneous roll out with the US. I've never bought an iPhone straight from Apple before so - does this often happen or is it because Steve isn't there doing a Highlander in reverse in the server buildings ? 😉

However, last year they said 01:00 Pacific Time whereas this year they said 00:01.
