Hey guys, just thought it would be a good idea to create a thread based on where a the best places to trade in an iPhone 4S for cash online and in store what with the iPhone 5 not too far away. Using CompareMyMobile and SellMyMobile you can get an idea of prices but I'm also wondering what are the best prices people are getting here in the UK. I'm going to wait until the 14th until I decide on who to go with, so it more or less depends who gives me the best price then and then I'll wait until the new one arrives and is set up before posting off the 4S, :)

The best price I found was £316 for my 32GB iPhone 4S !!!!!! That's almost half of what I paid on launch day last year :(

My 4 has a few problems (dock connector only works with one plug, home button doesn't work half the time) so i'm gonna sell it as non-working to Mazuma mobile for £80 (hope the price doesn't collapse on the 21st).

Since most places allow 2 weeks for the phone to be posted I'm going to 'order' my recycle this Friday, then wait till I get the new phone till I post my old phone, :)

I was thinking of selling my 64GB 4S but checking sellmymobile the most is £326 (more than half the amount I paid 11 months ago :p).

Also I checked eBay, prices vary a great deal. I saw one go for £480, one for £460 a few between £390 and £450 and one or two as low as £330!!

All unlocked. I think I'm gonna hold onto mine for a couple months and see what things are like then, or just wait until the next one. That is unless the new one is super sweet and I just give in and buy :p

Yeah I saw with vouchers it was a lot more, but I don't shop at argos ever and the other vouchers on offer from various places are also places I'm unlikely to visit!

haha I know! Everyone knows apple charge far too much to upgrade between models (ESPECIALLY in the UK where 16->32->64 costs more on iPhones than it does on iPads!).

But what can I say, my own fault I need the space :p

Request an shipping envelope now - their offers are valid for 14 days. Last week I got £295 for it, so you can see the prices are dropping a lot already.

Looking to sell my 16gb 4s to mazuma, at the minute they are offering £275, I am waiting though as you only have 14 days to send it, got to wait until Monday at the least to get the phone to them within 14 days.

I can't afford to go a day without a phone so will have to send it to them on the Friday 21st release date or on the Monday after.

Try 02 trade in, they usually guarantee the price for a period of time and will take it in pretty much any condition.
