I take it this is an attempt at humour? Do you know how many phones need to be delivered in London today along with the normal stuff they have to do every day?

me too, but all i keep getting is safari cannot connect to the server! Failed to open page!
Then when it opens, i paste the number in the reference box, and then it crashes, and the page wont open again. hit refresh, and back to the start!
 
Well my iPhone is in stock at the T-Mobile store, they are just waiting on UPS delivering the new sim cards and I'll be able to pick it up :)
 
Just a quick post as I am at work!

Mine should be arriving today - it's exciting times. My mum is in until 3 luckily so if it comes before then I will be playing with it tonight! If not it'll be a redelivery!

Mine was ordered direct from Apple last Friday btw.

On a seperate note (and an unbelievable one given some peoples experiences!) my sister rang Orange last weekend and upgraded her phone to the 5. They told her it'd be a few weeks after launch. Anyway she has had a text this morning to say hers is also on it's way today and it's trackable with UK Mail. Crazy to think I was there last Friday trying to desperately order as quick as I could, and she just rings Orange on a whim, totally not bothered about when it arrives and it's coming today haha.

Lucky girl!

Me! I actually saw a white van coming up the driveway and then my heart dropped when I realized it was my psycho neighbours mate picking him up for work. GRRR.

Cmon UK Mail!. I just know my driver Marcelo has stopped somewhere for breakfast and coffee.
 
Lightening connector included ?

has anyone who has received their IP5 and who are still on this thread (would there actually be any I wonder) received the promised 30/8 pin connector with their ip5?

Preparing for Shipment means from Apple to the courier, not from the courier to you. After switching to Shipped it takes at least 24 hours to reach the courier, who then has to deliver it to you. So there's no way you're getting it today :(
 
iPhone 5 activation without SIM

So my iPhone 5 arrived in very good time this morning. But because I'm on T-Mobile I won't be able to get a SIM for a day or so (depending on stock at the stores in Southampton).

I was prepared for this but I was not prepared for the fact that the phone will not 'activate' without a SIM and so is completely useless until I get the SIM. Is there any way to bypass this so I can set the phone up without a SIM?

Thanks, same as me then, eventually processed on Tuesday. Maybe there is hope after all!

Download Chrome! that's what I am using, I also have a bazillion tabs open too.
