UK iPhone 5s and 5c Thread

My two 16GB Gold just went from delivers between 02/10 and 07/10 to a new range of 08/10 to 11/10. Status is still Processing Items.
 
Just received SMS saying "You order will be delivered between 0946-1046".

Loving DPD :D

Now assuming there were indeed on the 11:40am flight from Hong Kong to Dubai, they are expected there around 16:00 local time (13:00 uk time).

Then there is a UPS cargo flight from Dubai to Cologne on 17:50 (14:50 uk time).
Fits perfectly ;)

All we have to wait now is a scan in Dubai around noon to confirm this plan

If that's the case, has anyone worked put a potential flight from Cologne to the UK? Possibly today?

i expect ups to arrive in cologne by 21:30 uk time as dubai is about 6hr 30mins away from cologne
so... 14:50 uk time is 15:50 german time + 6 hr 30 = approx. 22:30 german time (21:30 uk time)

if it really gets to cologne around 22:30 german time, then i'm sure there could be a flight out a little bit later (if one is scheduled)..let me find out with my german powers ;)

I got an iphone 64GB space gray.

It's a miracle!!!

Long queue, I was only guy there who had one ticket, the rest were buying two iphones at a time.

Some people were even trading and selling their tickets in the queue, before they even got an iphone.

It's now at the point where they are just buying up all stock of everything to keep demand high and give people no other choice. I'm hoping the fact online orders are now shipping will impact their little enterprise. They also know that what they dont sell they can just return.

Apple cannot ignore the fact that what was once a labour of love is now just a chore.

Apple! Are you listening! No more cash sales while demand is high and supply is short!
 
My 32GB Black/Space Grey 5S arrived at 9.30am UK time - a day earlier than UPS said - 7 days earlier than originally expected. :D
 
I think the ones that are pencilled in for Monday delivery will be on the 17:40 (local time) flight from China to Phillidelphia (via Cologne) - wether or not thet go from Cologne to UK tonight is another matter :confused:
 
Just off the phone to the Glasgow Store...

"We have limited stock, contract only."

What's that all about?! Anyone else had this problem? I just want one!

yup, the flight originated from hong kong (11:40 local time), is going to touch down in dubai soon and lands in cologne this evening :D

Is it possible that the flight actually has been following this route? FlightRadar's route display shows this:

Dubai > Hong Kong > Cologne

if you click on this link and zoom out http://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/5x3

you can see that the flight originiated in hong kong, its on its way to dubai right now (will probably touch down in an hour or so) and then goes to cologne..and probably to philly after that.

EDIT:

Also this flight could be interesting (though i doubt it, as our departure scan was around noon, 6 hours ago)
