I’m not yet fully convinced by the 17 Pro. It’s one of the first years where I want to see it in person before deciding, rather than pre ordering.
Will buy a white base model 17 to replace my 15 Pro. Pick up in store on 15th. Not sure what case yet.
0% finance option because leaving cash in the bank now gets interest now.
White because I'll hand it down to my daughter in 2 years and she won't want a black one and I don't really give a crap what colour it is as long as it's not pink.

I'm still struggling to understand the advantage of the Upgrade Programme.
The cost seems identical relative to the BFP (20 months vs 24 but it's the same cost overall). What am I missing?
Is the advantage that I just hand the iPhone back? As opposed to needing to sell it myself?

It gives iPhone X vibes. The fact it has the same battery life as the regular 16 Pro is good.
Only one speaker though, only one (albeit decent) camera, no RAW photography... quite a few drawbacks.
It's a tough call for me this year!
I want to get Orange and be able to see it but Apple seems to have broken the clear cases.
I wish the air had been a little bit smaller but after 3d printing a model of it I don't think I can skip it.
When I got my ipad pro m4 I was blown away how thin it was and was hoping I could get a phone that thin one day so Apple did the thing and now I want it. I kind of wanted to just go cheap but 16e is only a few hundred lest once you get the same 256 storage.

I have to agree - all 3 of the Pro model colours look odd in all photos and hands on videos I've seen. The two tone thing just doesn't work for me - and I've been caseless since my first iPhone, the iPhone 3G.
I just think it looks really shit but that's just my personal taste. To me it's the second ugliest iPhone ever, after the iPhone 6 which was by far the worst ever IMO.
I can't help but feel it's something to do with the choice to make the glass portion lighter than the aluminium portion. I think if the glass were darker than the aluminium, it would look more premium.
For the majority who use cases, the design of the back doesn't matter though.
Another appalling design choice.
Like seriously what the hell Apple? Got to be up there with the worst design decision they've ever made.
