Duo is a few hundred below what I expected so a pleasant surprise. eSim only is a downer for me. Anyone know the battery specs on the duo compared to the Pro/Max?

Up to 44 hours video playback when using the outer display

Up to 31 hours video playback when using the inner display

Pro Max:

Hello you crazy cats! What a start for John Ternus - a barnstorming Apple Event there!! 🔥

Definitely getting the Duo, how can you not - it's just spectacular and even better than expected. However I'm tempted this year to also get the 18 Pro and use the new Handoff feature so my sim can run on both, for times I want to use the Pro camera systems for work or on trips.

So excited for this year!!

I don't what to do. Using a cheap phone for the last 4 months to wait for the 18 line up.
I always wanted to get the 18 Pro Max 1TB, but it is soo expensive.
I am not interested in the iPhone Duo.

£300…..you are having a laugh. Like the Duo but it’s just too big and not worth the extra £800 for 1tb version..

That said I think will get the 1tb blue

I wonder if I have much chance of getting an 18 Pro at Argos as I have a load of Nectar points I’ve been saving up to get a new iPhone at some point.

I’m expecting nowhere near the demand this year as there was with the 17 Pro last year.

Now I've gone over the Duo specs, i'm put off. It looks great but so did the iPhone air.

But the camera specs look like basically the standard iPhone 17's, it's more heavy and eSim only and it's thicker than expected.

Will go with either the Pro or Pro Max but up in the air between the Blue & Red option. Just put into selling my 17 pro to Music Magpie for £660

These events are getting quieter by the year. AVforums used to be busy, but has been quieter each year. The upgrades are getting smaller, but the prices are getting bigger.

Phone tech is the same as Laptops, TVs etc. it’s just incremental updates now.

Want the Duo but going to wait for Air 2 in spring, I can't keep the duo for more than a year if we're getting the 20 next September so ill stick with the Air or Air 2.

Anyone else going from BPF to Creation payments (non iUP?). It says in FAQs that it should automatically sort itself but if I put my serial in for trade-in it says it isn’t eligible? Is it because it’s a replacement device from AppleCare?
