Hopefully someone can help answer me and apologies if it's already been covered...

I initiated a return for my iPhone 12 Pro today, however it said I have until 18th November to either return to store or to arrange collection.
However the email I received said I only had 5 days to return the device which seems wrong and isn't what the Apple UK website says (says I have 14 days to start a return, and then a further 14 days to actually return it).

I'm currently away on business, and cannot get back until the 16th which is when I planned to get the device sent off which according to the Apple website and the Apple Store app where I initiated the return (see screenshot) would be fine.

Has anyone done this in the past?

Thanks.

I returned a device recently and noticed the email saying 5 days when Apple's website says 14 days after the return is initiated. Call Apple if you want confirmation

After speaking with a representative I'm still not any wiser, they said that the email is correct but also that the website is correct. I asked if I was to return it after the 5 days would I still get my refund and they said I would however they'd have to generate a new shipping label. However the link to the label just says I have to return it within 14 days. Very strange, however I am more inclined to believe Apple's own website, and think the 5 day returns must be related to the UPS. I will return it as soon as I can, but it won't be within 5 days - any problems from Apple I will point them towards their own returns policy and instructions they gave me when I started the return process.

That sounds about right.. that the 5 days applies to the label. If you download the Apple Store app you should see your order and it will tell you when you need to return the phone by.
