Does anyone know if there are UK based trackers for iPhone trade in prices or what historically happens?

I was idly checking the trade in for my 12 Pro max and it was £350, which seems roughly around about ebay pricing. I recall last time I checked I could get much more on ebay.

So I'm wondering if this is a particularly good time to trade up, or if I hang on for the iPhone 15 will the trade in hold relatively ok compared to selling on ebay? What happens historically in the UK?

Cheers,

Greg

The minute a new generation of iPhones come out there’s a noticeable fall in all of the older models. I’ve found musicmagpie.co.uk to be a reliable trade in source when it comes to pricing.

You'll always get better money on ebay... But it's whether you can be bothered with the faff that it can cause at times.

Best to wait for their £1 or 80% off selling fees offers etc...

If your iPhone is in decent nick. It'll always sell well and will fetch better money thank any trade in...

But if you can't be bothered then as a ie, MM is hard to beat

Your iPhone 12 Pro will probably fetch around £250-£270 once the iPhone 15 is out. Now would be a good time to sell if you are happy with the iPhone 14 Pro.
