We all bow down to you. 70 million of us in the UK and as far as I can see you are the first ‘real’ person with an X.
Super Kudos.

Lots more message in other forum. I’m en route to work but can answer questions..via the forum on the new iPhone X obviously!

Has anyone else in the UK got their hand on it as far as you know? Haven’t looked at other posts in any detail..

Thanks. I had guaranteed to some that it would not ship with 11.1. I am vindicated lol. Enjoy your phone!

Good shout then.
I don’t have a photo with it showing 11.0.3 only this

Had to update to 11.1

Won’t install as background iCloud restore at the moment...

If my phone were on 11.1 already, and I made an iCloud backup, I’m assuming I would need to update the X to 11.1 before I could restore from the backup?

I’m not sure, I did see a link saying those upgrading shouldn’t update exiting iPhones as there would be problems restoring

Quick question, and something relevant to a Thread I started, curious if 3D Touch App switcher is available on the X, after it is updated to 11.1 .

Thanks for confirming the software version, and for sharing so much info! Main reason I love MacRumors is due to it’s awesome community!

Hi, no the 3D Touch app switcher doesn’t work in 11.1 but in all seriousness the new swipe up and hold slightly with the Taptic feedback is so good u won’t miss it

Can you confirm if 11.2 beta will work on the iPhone X? You don't need to install it or anything. Just sign up for the public beta program and install the profile and then check for updates and see if is shows 11.2 beta. Then you can remove the profile. I just am trying to figure out if it will work with 11.2 beta as my iPhone 7 Plus is on 11.2 beta and I need to restore from backup on my iPhone X tomorrow. Thanks.

It's not. There is no 11.2 beta in the dev portal for the X. Yet.
