Took the opportunity to upgrade my Air to the IPP through EE.

Ordered on the 4th of DEC, so far 3 failed promise dates and a phone call to say it won't be before christmas.

Disappointed to say the least, ironically i managed to source a Pencil within 2 days of ordering expecting that to be the hard part!

Anyone else had their order fulfilled through EE yet? :(

Not sure about EE, got mine with O2 online a couple of weeks back and was delivered next day.

Trouble with these companies is they charge extra for the device and the large data plans which seem to offer best value for it are not necessary for most if using wifi but just want occasional use outside the home, or perhaps GPS.
I would rather buy outright and just plug in a PAYG card but can't amor the one off, OTOH the total cost of the 24 month contract is significantly higher! Still undecided if I want cellular or not ...

Usually I'd agree as I buy most of my stuff outright, however the deal worked in my favour so it suits me fine.

I travel a lot for work so the extra data and 4G suits me fine when out of reach of wifi.

I did look at 02 however their signal in the West Country isn't great.
