Again, you're missing the fact that the Tablet has existed for many years before apple ever came out with the ipad, ipod touch, or iphone.

Tablet computing is NOT new. it was only recently however that tablets became mainstream and affordable in a tiny easy to cary form factor. I will give you and apple the credit that they made having them "cool" and mainstream. But they far far far FAR from invented the technology.
