Hi - can anyone recommend a minidisplay port to hdmi lead within the UK?

For the new 13" mbp (so audio and video).

Much obliged to anyone who can help.

Believe you need one that supports displayport 1.1a to handle the audio. Mentioned on ars technica.

Thanks - so would that Amazon one send audio too?

It says ' note: this unit will only transmit Video as Mini DP doesnt carry audio' but I guess this could have been before this week's releases

Are you getting one of the new MBPs ? Then it shouldn't be a problem.

Not sure if that one supports it, you'd need to check with them.

UPDATE: Our friends at Italian Mac blog setteB.IT pointed up to this recent Apple knowledge base article noting that some HDMI adapters won't work with the new MacBook Pros if they aren't compliant with the 1.1a version or later of the DisplayPort spec. There are some adapters out there that aren't fully compatible, so be sure to check if you plan to buy one.
