I'm sure the downtime means the following:
Every European customer gets 100 Euro of in-store credit to make up for how they have been screwing us over for the last couple of years (iTMS: 1 year wait for Europeans, iPhone: 5 month wait for 3 countries, 1 year for the rest, longer delivery times, 2 weeks wait for every new product they release, much higher prices for just about everything, abysmal support for all products, including .mac, .mac being slow as heck in Europe and of course much more expensive, no retail-stores in 99% of Europe, no iTunes Store video content for 99% of Europe (Apple-TV, of course, still costs more in Europe - have I forgotten anything?
