UK Telecoms Providers Remove All Data Caps on Home Broadband Services

Do you seriously have data caps on home broadband?

With my Virgin media UK Cable connection, download limits were removed long ago, but im pretty sure there were still some restrictions on upload, although in 10+ years I don't think I've ever run into them.

We still have caps in Australia. I've noticed the net is getting very slow the last week or so. Everyone on Netflix!.

They got a crappy version of reality compared to the US

Possibility 2:
They’ve got some crappy government law somewhere with some “unintended consequence“ while they powers that be were “just trying to help.” 👌🏼

Maybe both governments suck at freedom. Although, I suppose if your head is so buried in your nationalist collectivist orifice, that possibility might escape you, and you would automatically assume I endorse the **** show over here.

And if they can uncap their limits now, especially when data demand is at it's peak, they could and would uncap them all the time if there were a free market surrounding them. Nothing would stop a slew of telco competitors from sweeping in and undercutting the companies who put caps on them. Not that I really give a damn what regulations you choose to choke on with your perfect government.
