We’re on the lookout for Apple TV 4thGen and Apple TV 4K users to help us trial a new NOW TV app.

About the trial

We’re getting ready to launch a brand-new NOW TV app on Apple TV 4th Gen and Apple TV 4K devices and we need your help to make sure that it’s ready to go.

What do I need to take part?

To take part in this trial, you’ll need either:
  • Apple TV 4th Gen; or
  • Apple TV 4K
And: an active NOW TV Pass of your choice – this can be either Entertainment, Movies, Sports or Kids.

With this and All4 hopefully coming soon, it’s looking pretty good. All I would need is BT Sport and I’d have my perfect box.
 
Finally. It's certainly taken them long enough to get this far. I've applied for the beta test as I have a 4th gen Apple TV but haven't heard anything back.
 
Applied a few days ago too - nothing back yet.

Didn't even receive a confirmation screen or email. So hoping.
 
The nowTV app currently is the most disappointing app I have used on AppleTV.
 
Has anyone heard anything about this elusive beta? Even their own forums are silent about it. Mind you total silence is pretty common from Sky/Now TV with regards to the Apple TV so nothing has changed there.
 
Slightly off topic, but seems a good place to ask. I have been thinking about ditching my Sky subscription and switching to Now TV. However, I keep reading on the Now TV Forums that the picture quality is, as best, 780p. I have a relatively decent broadband connection (BT Infinity) and get good/excellent picture quality from Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Has Now TV upped its game in terms of streaming picture quality?

I have been accepted onto the trial, I contacted them last week and they are running a bit late with the start of the trial which will start soon.

I filled in the form but never heard back. No beta for me I guess!

I think I’ve been accepted. I was emailed after my application and asked to fill in an additional form with more info.

But I didn’t receive anything after this. Still waiting.
