Looking to change from three go onto EE for better signal and 4G. I'm also thinking of getting a shared plan and adding rest of family on. Interested to know what data allowance people with iPhones have in UK and how much data you use.

Can you fill in the poll and say in comments what network please and how much data actually use.

Thanks

----------

I'll start off...

Three, unlimited, actually use 7Gb/month

GiffGaff (uses O2) on an outright phone.

£12 a month gets me unlimited data, unlimited texts and 250 minutes.

Some of the 'deals' in the US/Australia are eye-watering in comparison.

O2

U/L Minutes/Texts

10GB Data

£150 for iPhone 6 64GB

6 Months free insurance.

£43 per month, 2 years.

3

£15 per month.

Unlimited data (incl. 4GB of tethering)
3000 3-to-3 minutes
200 minutes
Unlimited texts

Best part is, for the first time in 6 years I'm not tied into a contract. I can shop around as and when. Perfect, even with a hefty down payment for the phone.

I'm with Three. The sim only, rolling one month, £18 a month plan before the new ones came out.
2000 minutes, unlimited text (5000?), unlimited data. Tethering included (no idea if there's a limit on mine or not).
Couldn't possibily say how much data I use, but usually more than 2gb I think. Hell of a lot more over the last month because I've downloaded 2 x iOS 8 IPSWs.

Found data use... Right there on the bill lol
6gb, 4gb, 5.7, 7.4, 4.5, 15.8(!!!)
That's going backwards, September to April.
No idea how I end up using so much, and certainly no idea how I managrd 15.8 in April! That's ridiculous!

thanks so far, I'm on the fence wether to goto EE, purely as I'll "only" have 10Gb if I go SIMO, or 20Gb if I go on a 24M contract, SIMO is going to be £10/month more than now, and 20Gb would be £20/month more!

I checked my 3 bills, it really is surprising how much data you use when you don't think about it, that reason I'm still on fence..

mmm....

3

£18 per month.

2000 - Mins
5000 - 3-3 Mins
5000 - Texts
Unlimited data (incl. Unlimited tethering)

Last month I used 5GB data, I was using Spotify heavily most days whilst at work.

On average though I use about 3GB.

EE Business, 6GB data, unlimited everything else, £17.50+VAT, 12 month SIM only.

Do EE do any kind of "perk" for people who work at a company that uses them? They used to do an Orange one whereby got money off line rental, do they do this for EE now? can't seem to find anything on web about EE, only Ornage (don't want Orange as would want 4G, not 3G as Orange only do)

thanks

O2 here.

iPhone 6 128GB

£269.99 up front

£18 (tariff) + £20 (phone) = £38 per month

2 year contract

Unlimited texts
Unlimited minutes
2GB data

I'm using my first month as a tester. My last contract had unlimited data so I just used it constantly without even thinking about it. Now I will actually need to keep an eye on it. Every likelihood that I'll have to upgrade to a bigger data package next month.

Well the tariff was supposed to be for 1GB but he did 6GB for me instead. Our company was on Orange Talk Share but now we're all on separate contracts with EE. Other than that, I don't think so. We used to use a local, independent phone shop all the time but they've just closed down (possibly similar circumstances to P4U) so going direct to EE now. They're all desperate for your business so you can always try bargaining....
