UK users..

    Any UK owners of hacked :apple:tv managed to get other progs installed and running on there :apple: Having no joy trying to get Jamam onto my unit and it appears cant get HULU either.
    Might be me being a plank :eek: but if there is any help out there I would be grateful.

    Hulu and other sites use IP filtering to block content from viewers in other countries unfortunately, so it is not a software issue on your AppleTV it's an intended service block from those companies. You would need to run iVPN or a similiar VPN solution to spoof a US IP address at either the device or your router to access those services.

    I have used :apple:TV FLASH on my unit so I have VPN and I have enabled it however still can't load Hulu. Any ideas or maybe I am going around the wrong way trying to load it ! Any easy to follow instructions would be great.:rolleyes:

    I'm not sure about the config of the AppleTV - can you enter details to connect to a VPN? The simple solution to access from Europe / UK on my MBP is to use a US based VPN (Virtual Private Network). More details here:

    A VPN basically creates a secure tunnel from your computer to a local American ISP. The VPN then gives you a new US based IP address - and it appears as if you are physically in the USA.
