yep contract got it on day 1 of iPhone 4 release.... I'm probably eligible for a tariff evaluation by now I may have to investigate.

EDIT: best they can do is reduce my tariff by £5 and leave me with 250 texts which is not even close to what I text per month

I'm on an Orange contract.
Pay about £30 a month.
Get 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB (which is supposedly unlimited ) of data and that's pretty much it. It's a terrible contract I know, almost up now though.
Don't think I'll be sticking with Orange when I renew though. Thinking about going with either 3 or O2. Orange have been letting me down a lot lately.

You could always use liveprofile/iMessage/whatsapp etc instead of texting.
