Help With XFX HD-489A-ZDFC v. 5.4

First off, I would like to say that, as a novice computer scientist, I really admire all the work you've done for the community. I hope to one day get to a level of understanding where I can do a fraction of what you've done.
I have been trying to setup my XFX HD-489A-ZDFC 5.4 with Mavericks 10.9.4 for the past few weeks, learning little by little what needed to be done but I can't seem to get there so I've decided to ask for help. I've downloaded QE/CI kexts done by Fantomas, specific to 10.9.4 but everytime I install and boot (normally, not in safe boot) I get either a white(grey?) screen with black lines or a black screen with white boxes (if I boot verbose). I've tried various ROMs for the card, (I have two so I've been using one to recover if I reach a critical error) but seem to have no luck. I'm going to attatch my orignal rom if that helps at all. I do remember reading one of your old posts saying that there were no working ROMs for that specific card but I'm not sure what's changed since then, I'd hope that somebody else with my card has been able to do it.

Asus P6t deluxe v2
Core i7 920
2 XFX HD-489A-ZDFC rev 5.4
I used latest Unibeast and Multibeast with a DSDT-Free install. Used Fantomas' 10.9.4 QE/CI Exotic kexts. Before installing those kexts I can boot in (in a lower resolution, 1024x768 or 1400x1050 if I set resolution to 1080p in boot.plist). After installing kexts, I get those problems (with or without graphicsenabler).
Let me know if I can provide any additional information/documentation or if you know that you can't solve this now.
Even if I don't get this card working, I've learned a lot from you. I'm mainly setting this hackintosh up to develop in xcode for a school project, so worst come to worst, I will just use safe boot and program in a lower resolution, it's just annoying to look at my screen in a lower resolution.
