I’m sure like many of you I downloaded the iOS and watchOS updates yesterday to reenable blood oxygen readings.

This morning when I woke up, I noticed the Vitals section of Apple Health was still missing the blood oxygen readings. I assumed the Vitals app on Apple Watch would still be impacted, but I was really hoping in the iPhone Vitals section the data would be displayed.

Yup, not in the vitals app/section, been discussed quite a bit in the .1 upgrade story on the front page yesterday

I know, see my first post. I’m not referring to that.
As I said, others have the same observation as you.
I am guessing that the Health app pulls the vitals data from a dataset that the Vitals app on the watch generates. Since SpO2 data/value is not generated on the watch but on the phone, it's empty and thus not displayed in the vitals section in the phone. Maybe there is an update to this coming in watchOS 26...

Same here. I was hoping some savvy MR readers would find out whether this is going to be added someday soon, or how to activate it. It would be great to have that missing data point each morning again!

EDIT to add: now I notice in the Health app that the Blood Oxygen readings display info for the last few days, even though I haven’t manually done a reading since Friday. so that’s good…. still the data is missing from the Vitals screen. eh. well at least it’s progress, maybe another update or two in the future will fix that. 🤷🏻‍♂️
