So, I just got my Black Ultra 2 today.

Moved up from an Ultra 1 I bought two years ago.

As an Ultra 1 owner, I turned on assisted gestures in accessibility to try and mimic the double-tap features on the Ultra 2.

It worked quite well. I loved double-tapping my finger and thumb to dismiss notifications such as emails, alerts, or messages.

However, now that I have an actual double-tap on the Ultra 2 there seems to be an issue...

You can't dismiss notifications with a double-tap

From the short amount of research I have done, that function is only in accessible setting gestures and you can't run that simultaneously with double-tap. Either one of the other has to be turned off.

Am I missing something here? Surely, with double-tap, there has to be a way to tap and dismiss notifications and email alerts.

Double tap needs it own menus so users can set it up to do what they want. Because it is not “adaptable” I do not use this feature often.

Yes, for me the reason I do not use double-tap. Would be a great feature while running to dismiss these notifications. Instead it opens them.
Would be great to have it the other way round.
