Ultra 3 trade-in value

I was trying to figure out what the trade in value for my current Apple ultra 3 watch would be before they announce the 4.

I selected a new Apple Watch 3 and then typed in the serial number of my current watch. It said it’s not eligible for a trade-in. I then tried a cheaper Watch and it said the same thing.

Is that just because I can’t upgrade from a three to a three or from a three to a cheaper watch? Or is the three truly not eligible for a trade-in?

It's too new not yet eligible for Apple Trade In but I'm thinking low to mid $300

I would need at least like $360 for me to consider upgrading. If they don’t change the design I will likely keep my UW3 that I got for $550 on swappa. It’s been great and I love the sleek black color

it'll be available for trade-in once the U4 is available for order.
My U2 has a $305 trade-in

Trade in prices will change / increase once the new product shows up.

Case in point: Mac Studio M1 base was quoted $440 trade in 2 weeks ago. Then after the M5 was announced, it jumped up to $640.

Still not trading thru Apple - price is way too low - resale prices are fetching ~$1400.
