Sorry if I missed this but are there only specific bands for the ultra? Any third party bands yet

Yep... I know myself and others have ordered the 3rd party bands specifically for the Ultra - that mirror the official Apple ones but... cost less ;) Mine should be here any day.

Some manufacturers are making different size options:

That’s weird. If you look on the Apple website at the official Apple Watch bands, the ones for the 45mm show compatibility for the 49mm. I can’t see what they’re doing that Apple isn’t doing on their bands. Maybe they’re longer?
It's possible. It's early days... So, it simply could be that they assume Ailah person ordering a bigger watch needs a longer strap - or maybe it's even a touch wider... who knows...

Soon there will be so many options :)

That Apple charges $99 for the Ultra bands is interesting, especially the Trail Loop, which doesn't appear amazingly better than the regular Sport Loop ($50 extra for the pull tab?). Yeah, I suppose it is more secure, but these prices are pretty bold, considering the extra cost to Apple is probably $1, and the Sport Loop is already quite expensive.
Am I missing something?

Does the sport loop have titanium lugs and clasp?

Both eBay and Amazon have bands for the Ultra. Just beware as the sellers on eBay will claim anything, Amazon is a bit better but far from perfect. Stick with the name brands

I bought a 3rd party alpine loop for the ultra. One side wouldn’t slide into the watch. The middle gray part was elevated. Just ordered more through ALI so I guess I wait

Gotta collection well over 150 3rd party bands from eBay. Just brought these this morning. Haven’t had a bad experience yet. Expensive devices, cheap accessories. I can’t make any sense of it but… 🤷🏾‍♂️ lol

There’s no world where the even titanium lugs on the Trail Loop are worth 50$ US. It’s apple at It’s finest.
