There are pages of people posting their Apple Watch Ultra "a day in the office with a small workout" battery life, but I wouldn't get an Ultra just for that. What I'd like to know is the battery life during outdoor activities with GPS tracking enabled, how many hours do you get with a hiking or biking workout recording your path etc? Is that with or without the cellular radio active? With or without the iPhone nearby, in case that makes a difference?

I've read that some people hike for over 8h and still have 40-60% left.

If I bike with Chest Strap I could go around 17-20h.

If I run without phone with AOD on + streaming offline music over airpods I lose about 6-8% per 30 min. It's less when I use low power mode and chest strap.

Someone did a review testing the AWU without being tethered to an iPhone. The battery life was less than advertised. Still far more than the standard Apple Watch though
