Ultra complication changed and won’t revert

I’m using the Wayfinder face.

The sub-dial top complication was set to Today‘s Date. I wake up this morning and it’s apparently changed to Compass. No matter what I do — change the complication to something else, set it to Off, restart both watch and watch — this won’t change on the watch. The phone displays the changed values on the list on complications, but the little preview at the top stays unchanged. It’s especially annoying because it causes the white band to rotate, which is just awful.

All the other complications can be changed.

I had pretty much the same problem. I ended up completely deleting the Wayfinder face and redoing it from scratch. Works fine now, although I hardly ever use it as I much prefer my old Apple Watch 7 infograph face.

Just touch the minute or hour ring and it toggle between compass and minutes or hours. It’s that simple and will save a lot of work.

Just touch the screen by the compass, it would go back to normal, it’s an extra complication
