Ultra Fast Charging

Anyone know if the Belkin 3-1 charger (rectangular pad) will do fast charging with a Series-7 watch and WatchOS-9.2 ? I have not upgraded from 8.6 since it DOES work properly in this point release. Since it was broken with the 8.5 update I'm now totally paranoid. Thanks for any info on this !

TBH, I haven't experienced any issues with fast charging and my Ultra is in the latest general release. My charger is an Apple iPad charger (not the latest 20w charger but the 18w one which came with the earlier iPad Pro 11-inch from 2020).

I think the issue historically was related to third-party charging devices such as the Belkin 3-1 charging pad.

Can anyone confirm if the bug with Belkin 3-in-1 charger (not able to fast charge) has been fixed as of WatchOS 9.3 ??

So I have updated my iPhone to iOS 16.3 and my AWU to WatchOS 9.3 and tested the fast charging and for me the issue fast charging not working when the watch isn't connected to the phone hasn't been fixed.

Watch and phone not connected - 20 mins = 7% charge
Watch and phone connected - 5 mins = 7% charge

Both cases using the fast charging puck and recommended 20W charger.

Do we think Apple will every fix this considering the number of opportunities they have had?

I too can confirm. This is a frustrating bug for sure

Fast charging has broke for me since installing 9.3. I only use Apple kit to charge. I’ve got the MagSafe Duo Charger and the puck that came with the Ultra, both were fine before 9.3, but now, not the case.
