Hi all, guessing others are experiencing this on their Ultra Trail and probably Alpine Loops?

Showing wear on the metal attachments from the swapping bands. Metal/metal friction and it being Ti is my assumption.

Maybe pull downwards away from the top when sliding in and out will help. This way the friction will be mostly on the underside where it won't be noticeable.

Similarly I had marks in the same place on my Space Black Link Bracelet from the Ultra. Bugged me so took it off a little annoyed I may have spoilt my Link strap. Some time later I had the thought that it was probably metal from the watch stuck to the strap, so got the Cape Cod cloths out and sure enough rubbed off easy. Didn't budge with water and microfibre cloth.
DON'T DO THIS ON THE TITANIUM LUGS OF THE ULTRA BANDS.

“Ur doin it rong.”

You see, what actually happened is this.

You were free-scaling a 500-meter granite cliff in a desperate attempt to rescue a family kidnapped by terrorists. You were almost at the top when one of the terrorists spotted you and shot you in the foot. As you were falling to your certain doom, you were able to snag the watch on a tree root. You were then able to swing yourself up to the cliff where, in a continuous motion, you disabled the terrorist. It was brutal finishing the mission hopping on one foot, but you somehow managed.

Those creases on the lugs are the wear marks from swinging around by the watch. Wear them with pride.

It’s funny Apple people complain about the slightest little scratch. I can’t wait till Apple releases a car. “Omg this car has a micro scratch on the paint, I demand a refund”
