Using the sport loop with mine and love it. Oddly I need to exchange it, the nub that locks the strap in is damaged. First time I've ever seen that and I have been using an Apple Watch since day one.

I just noticed Apple is offering the Ultra with the orange Alpine loop for $50 off. I also have a $92 credit. I could get the ultra new for $681 (after tax). Tempting lol If I did that, I would have to get another Solo Loop for $52.

Out of curiosity, did that nub come damaged from Apple or could it have happened from stretching the loop over your hand to get it on your wrist. I ask because I always felt that it was putting a lot of stress on the nub when stretching the loop on and taking it off.

My Solo Loops have worked beautifully, and look fantastic, with my Ultra. My loops were a hair tight with my Series 7 (damn that weight gain lol) so with the Ultra they have loosened slightly due to the larger case size and the fit is even better. I could imagine if your Solo Loop borders on being too loose with a regular Series Apple Watch it might require sizing down when you move to an Ultra.
