I'm using an Ultrawide display with a native resolution of 3440x1440. I'm just wondering why I see the "using a scaled resolution" warning in Display settings whereas it's actually the screen's native resolution, so there is obviously no scaling involved...

This is on macOS Golden Gate but was also the same on Tahoe.

Anyone has an idea why I see the "may affect performance" warning?... Just curious

No, it's not saying that you're using a scaled resolution. It's saying that if you do select a scale resolution from the list it may affect performance. It's written poorly.
