Un-delete Photos on iphone?

my toddler keeps accidentally deleting photos/videos from iphone when looking at them - how do I un-delete them (or disable delete button altogether)

You can't undelete them. Once they're deleted they're gone.
If you're jb you can install photector. It disables the delete button in photos.

If you are going to let a toddler play with an iPhone it might be a good idea to have everything backed up to your computer beforehand. 😎

On this note, I havent tried but a restore from backup may replace the deleted pictures. As long as you dont re back up.

I personally do a iPhoto dump every now and then to archive.

+1 on dumping the photos into an app or other backup mechanism. I'd recommend either the iPhoto dump, using a "photo lock" program to copy them to a separate pile, or even considering the DropBox app (if you are aware of the security ramifications.) This way, even if the photos get erased, you can still retrieve them.
