How do u UN-highlight something in IWork (Mac) that was originally highlighted in Microsoft Word?
I recently switched to Mac so I am learning. LOL I have a document I made in Word that has highlights. Now I need to UN-highlight parts of it but I am using IWork. Can this be done or am I going to have to redo the whole document from scratch? 😕

Most likely you'll have to re-type the highlighted text. Not all Word formatting is supported by Pages (iWork). see here for further info.

I can't test this at the moment, but give this a try:

Copy the text that you want to remove the highlighting from.

With the cursor in a section of the document that does not have highlighting (the end of the word just before the highlighting begins will probably work fine, instead of moving to another section of the document), choose Edit -> Paste and Match Style. This should remove any and all formatting and just paste the text, matching the font and style of the surrounding text. If it doesn't work, try it elsewhere in the document or in a new document.
